The City
School District of Albany offers academic and enrichment summer-school programs for students in elementary, middle school and high
school. Many of these programs are designed to help students meet
the state's rising academic standards and tougher graduation
requirements.
High School
Middle School
-
Students in grades 6-7-8 in
one of the district's three middle schools during the 2010-11 school
year can participate in middle-school summer school in
2011. Elementary students in grade 6 during the 2010-11 school year
can participate in middle-school summer school on a recommendation
from their principal.

Middle-school summer school
will be held at Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School, 100 Elbel
Court off of Whitehall Road.
Elementary School
-
Students in grades 1-3 during
the 2010-11 school year can participate in elementary
summer school in 2011. Summer school is not offered for students in
grades 4-5. Elementary students in grade 6 in 2010-11 can
participate in middle-school summer school on a recommendation from
their principal.

Every district elementary school
will
offer a summer-school program for grades 1-3. Please note that Arbor Hill
Elementary School's summer program will be located at Delaware
Community School, 43 Bertha St., due to renovations.
