Albany High School seniors on Wednesday, May 3,
viewed a one-hour mock DWI drill, a program designed to raise
awareness about the consequences and dangers of driving while
intoxicated. The studens watched as some student-actors were removed
from vehicles, some taken away in ambulances, some in hearses. They
also watched as the driver of one vehicle, who walked away from the
"crash," was taken away in handcuffs. Along with the student-actors,
city police, emergency medical personnel, firefighters, and others
participated.
