Big 10 all-star recognition
Sixteen members of the boys’ outdoor
track team, which over the course of the season broke records, won
prestigious meets, and delivered a Big 10 championship for Albany High
School were recently named as Big 10
all-stars.
First team all-stars: Kareem Morris
(100-meters), Fuad Jusic (400-meters), Alex Schettino (Pole Vault), and
Corey Harris (Triple Jump).
Second team all-stars: Gabe Gordon
(800-meters), Kyle Thompson (110-meter hurdles), Vincent Kemp (Pole
Vault), and Jamal Temple (Discus).
Honorable Mention: Zine Massay
(400-meters), John Pettite (800-meters), Peter Barth (1,600-meters),
Tyler Norton (3,200-meters), Matt Wu (400-meter hurdles), Matt Ryan
(Pole Vault), Jalon Scott (Shot Put), and Evan Lacetti (Pentathlon).
