Basketball player Bennett makes second team all-stars

Senior Jeremic Bennett has been named to the second team of area
basketball all-stars by the Times Union.
Bennett closed his career with 18 points to lead the Falcons in
the semifinal loss to CBA. It was the Falcons' best playoff showing
since losing the 2006 Class AA championship game. You can

The boys' team finished third in the Big 10
and enjoyed its
deepest playoff run in four years before
falling 64-43 to Big 10-champion CBA at the Times Union Center on March
2. The Falcons (13-8) beat Columbia at home in the first round of the
playoffs Feb. 25 and then overwhelmed Queensbury 82-43 in the
quarterfinals at Hudson Valley Community College two days later.
