Champions Campaign

The City School District of Albany is pleased to present its Champions Campaign, an effort during the 2008-09 school year to highlight many of the district's outstanding people and programs through the words and unique experiences of leaders from throughout the community.

Students and scholars, parents and partners, alumni and athletes, opinion leaders and more. Champions like Glen Barker, Albany High School Class of 1989 (pictured at right).

Our two dozen Champions carry a message shared by tens of thousands of individuals throughout the Capital Region and beyond. They are linked by their shared recognition of the myriad opportunities available to all students in Albany's public school.

They understand and support our mission to educate and nurture all students to be responsible citizens, critical thinkers and lifelong learners.
