Communications Office The
City School District of Albany maintains a full-service Communications
Office that conducts outreach to students, parents, teachers, staff, local leaders
and policymakers.
The
Communications Office produces the district's quarterly newsletter,
Capital Education, the annual budget newsletter and school calendar, and a variety of other
materials throughout the year.
Communications staff also
maintain content on the district
Web site, and interact with the
media to share news about district people, programs and
events, and respond to
media requests for interviews and information.
The district requires all
students to have a signed media and photo release form prior to
appearing in any video or still photography, or being interviewed for
stories to be distributed by the district or media.
