ALBANY, N.Y. (March 18, 2010) -- A cast of 65 Albany School of
Humanities students will perform a two-night run of the school play "A
Night with Disney" on March 26 and 27.
The play combines four
Disney classic musicals: "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," Cinderella,"
"Mary Poppins" and "Beauty and the Beast." Mickey Mouse will be the
show's master of ceremonies, and his Mouseketeers keep the show running
with their lead-ins and insights.
The show is written and
directed by Leslie Bogucki, who directed eight shows at ASH during the
past 13 years. Nicole Sommers and John Halverson will direct the music.
Parents, teachers and staff also have pitched in to make the performance
happen.
Both shows begin at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $4 for adults, $2 for students and free for children under
5. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
The mission of the City School District of
