Jacob
Citone got a perfect score at last year’s New York State School Music
Association (NYSSMA) festival. That’s a feat in and of itself, but it’s
particularly impressive since he did it his first year in Montessori’s
school band.
Exceptional effort with outstanding results is typical of
Jacob. His project took first place in the annual city-wide Joseph Henry
Science Fair at The College of Saint Rose.
He was one of a handful of
his classmates selected to attend a Green Summit at the University of
New Hampshire.
His smarts extend beyond academics and arts – he played
on the school basketball team and was master of ceremonies for the
school’s variety show.
